Sir Arthur Weller has been Chairman of the Citadel Group since its establishment. He gained his initial insurance experience in London and Australia during the 1960s and 1970s as a Lloyd’s agent. Sir Arthur has been closely involved in many noted charitable organisations, as Chairman of The Maritime Trust and The Britain-Australia Bicentennial Schooner Trust and a Trustee of the National Maritime Museum in the United Kingdom, and in Australia as Chairman of The Endeavour Replica Foundation. Sir Arthur was appointed Commander of the British Empire in 1988 and a Knight Bachelor by Her Majesty the Queen in 1997 for services to British-Australian relations.

James Macdonald
|
James M Macdonald has been a Director of Citadel Reinsurance Company Limited in Bermuda since 1999. He is a partner in the Corporate Department of Conyers Dill & Pearman in Bermuda, specialising in general corporate and commercial matters with a particular emphasis on insurance, including advising insurance mutuals and P&I clubs. James graduated from Trinity College, University of Toronto in 1976 with a BSc. He went on to pursue an LLB and graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School, Toronto in 1979. He was articled with Toronto law firm Smith, Lyons, Torrance, Stevenson and Mayer, where he qualified as a barrister and solicitor in 1981 and practised until 1984. He returned to Bermuda and spent nine years as Corporate Legal Counsel to the Bank of Bermuda. He was called to the Bermuda Bar in 1987, and in 1993 joined Conyers Dill & Pearman where he has been a Partner since 1997.
James is a Member of the Bermuda Bar Association and the International Bar Association.

Tom McMahon

Tom McMahon is President of Cedar Management Limited, which acts as Citadel's Principal Representative and General Manager. Tom graduated with Honours as a Bachelor of Commerce from University College Galway, Ireland in 1983 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chargered Accountants in Ireland. He worked for Coopers & Lybrand and ACE Limited in Bermuda before joining CNA Risk Services Ltd in 1994. Cedar bought out CRS in 2005. Tom has considerable experience of the Bermuda insurance market, with particular expertise in the establishment and management of single parent, group and Segregated Account Company captives. |

Mick Larkin

Mick Larkin is Vice President of Cedar Management Limited, which acts as Citadel's Principal Representative and General Manager in Bermuda. Mick is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and holder of a Bermuda Insurance Institute Diploma. He moved to Bermuda in 1988 and worked for Ernst & Young and Highland Fidelity Limited before joining Cedar in 1999. He has 20 years' experience of accounting, audit, financial and management in Bermuda with particular focus on rent-a-captives, single parents and Segregated Account companies. |

Tony Weller

Tony Weller began his professional career with Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) in 1988, based in Sydney and Perth. He completed his professional year in 1990, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with the ICA in Australia. During this time he specialised in insurance audit practice, and his career has since been focused on the insurance and accounting industries. He subsequently became a partner with Fogarty Weller Chartered Accountants in Perth, before moving to Citadel Group Representatives Inc in New York in 2001. He transferred to the United Kingdom in 2004 as Managing Director of Citadel Group Representatives Limited.
Tony has considerable expertise within the insurance, reinsurance and taxation industries, primarily in the United States, United Kingdom, Bermuda and Australia. |

Art P. Coleman

Art P Coleman is President of Citadel Risk Management, Inc., with a high profile in the US insurance industry and a particular specialization in run-off and commutation business. Before leaving to set up CRMI, between 1996 and 2005 Art was Executive Vice President of CNA Global Resource Managers, Vice President of CNA Insurance Companies and President of Contintinental National Indemnity Company. In his career with those companies, he was responsible for the execution of commutations in excess of $250 million. Prior to that Art was Vice President and Director of Financial Consulting at Munich-American Reinsurance between 1993 and 1996, Vice President at Continental Re Management between 1986 and 1993, and Assistant Vice President at Intere Intermediaries Inc between 1978 and 1986. Art is an inaugural member of the Board of the Association of Insurance & Reinsurance Run-Off Companies (AIRROC). |
